MCU has amazed us with its amazing characters for the last 14 years and gave us some memorable memories but which characters are the strongest in this entire franchise.

These characters new and old have not just most powerful but also have a main role in MCU and have a great character development throughout the years.

10. Shang Chi

One the newest edition to the franchise, Shang Chi is driven with pure strength and the true master of the Ten Rings. Debuted in 2022 Shang Chi has already become a fan-favorite character with his Martial Arts skills and heartbreaking back story.

Shang-Chi’s fighting skills with the Ten Rings make him a formidable threat who was even able to defeat The Dweller-In-Darkness. Shang Chi has a lot more potential to unveil in the future.

9. Ikaris

Ikaris’ ability to fly at any speed he wanted to and eject lasers from his eyes made him almost unstoppable, with Ikaris ultimately holding back when he realized he was about to destroy his kind.

Ikaris’s debut in 2022 with other Eternals brought a new era of heroes but the most shocking was the betrayal of Ikaris to other Eternals which made the story more twisted.

8. Spider-Man

One of the most famous comic book characters of all time, Spider-Man debuted in the MCU in 2017 with Spider-Man: Homecoming. The portrayal of Spider-Man in MCU has shown us the unbalanced life of being a teenage superhero.

Throughout MCU films Spider-Man, the character of Peter Parker has changed drastically and has his abilities and powers. From fighting an armored supervillian ‘Vulture’ to fighting the mad titan ‘Thanos’ Spider-Man has always exceeded our expectations.

7. He Who Remains

The most unexpected entry in MCU has to be Kang, debuting in the last episode of ‘Loki’ Season 1 as the head of Time Variance Authority and a Kang: The Conquerer variant, He Who Remains was omniscient and knew the entire timeline until Sylvie kills forcing the timeline to branch.

Kang is one of the strongest and most dangerous villains in Marvel Comics trying to conquer all timelines and become its sole ruler. Being immortal and equipped with advanced futuristic weaponry he’s a tough opponent to take down.

6. Thor

Played by Chris Hemsworth Thor debuted in MCU in 2011 since then Thor has gone through massive changes to both his character and his powers. After Hela broke his hammer Mjolnir in Thor: Ragnarok, we have seen the true power of God Of Thunder and with his new Stormbreaker, he was able to even take down Thanos.

Thor is also the first character in MCU to get his fourth solo film which only guarantees his power exceeds even higher limits.

5. Captain Marvel

Captain Marvel received her powers through the Space Stone after which she lost her memory until she returned to Earth. Even though her character isn’t as evolved as others on this list seeing she’s been in MCU for 3 Years yet her powers are unparalleled. Her powers helped her destroy the entire Ronan army and Thanos’s Ship without breaking a sweat.

4. Infinity Ultron

Infinity Ultron as seen in the ‘What if…?’ is an alternate universe where Ultron succeeded in destroying humanity from the earth and gained all infinity stones after ripping Thanos into two pieces. The combined power of Infinity Stones, Ultron’s Intelligence, and Vibranium Armour made him invincible making him destroying all life from his universe and even defeating Captain Marvel and The Watcher.

3. The Watcher

Another character introduced in the ‘What if…?’ series, The Watchers are a race of extraterrestrial beings having the power to watch happenings in the entire Multiverse, augmenting personal attributes, time and space manipulation, molecular manipulation, energy projection, and a range of mental powers. Even with all this power, the limitations come to uphold their oath not to interfere in affairs of the multiverse.

The only battle we saw of Watcher was with Ultron where he lost because of his resistance to uphold his oath. We still have a lot to see of this character in future seasons of ‘What if…?’

2. Scarlet Witch

An orphan who got her title ‘Scarlet Witch’ in the first marvel series ‘WandaVision’. Since her introduction in 2015 in ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’, Wanda’s powers have exceeded any other avenger to a point where she could take down Thanos all by herself, destroy an Infinity Stone and make an alternate reality(Westview).

In “WandaVison’, Wanda discovered her being a witch from the very beginning and unleased her true power against the fight with Agatha Harkness and also acquires the Darkhold: Book Of Sins and Spells. We expect her to become the most powerful character in MCU ever and await to see her in ‘Dr. Strange and Multiverse of Madness’.

1. Strange Supreme

A Universe where Stefen Strange lost her love Christine Palmer instead of his hands in the infamous car crash. Unable to get over his grief he seeks out a way to break an ‘Absolute Point Of Time’ to save Cristine leading him to absorb multiple magical creatures for years. After the showdown with his separate self, he succeeds in breaking the ‘Absolute Point of Time’ destroying his universe.

The true power of Strange Supreme was seen in the battle with Infinity Ultron where the only reason the ‘Guardians Of The Multiverse’ won was him as marked by Ulton himself.
